Since the whole purpose of my blog is to talk about the family unit, it would only make sense to first introduce you to my family. Just don't judge us based on these pictures, they were taken about 4 years ago and it's safe to say we all look a little better now than we did back then. ;)
My family is has lived in Rexburg, Id my whole life. My step-dad is originally from Meridian, Id and my mom is from Rexburg. They met at the medical center that my mom was working at when I was about 2 years old, and ever since then my step-dad, Kevin, has been the father figure in my life. My older brother, Blake, and I came from my mom's first marriage with my biological dad. After she married Kevin, they had the other four kids.
My family is a HUGE blessing in my life. Hopefully throughout this blog you will be able to understand more of my view on the family and why mine means so much to me.
My siblings... where do I start. They are probably the most crazy, loving, energetic, caring, sweet, impatient, obnoxious, supportive, funny, talented, frustrating, happy bunch I have ever met. And yet that's what makes them perfect. My siblings and I have had our fair share of fights and name-calling. But I can honestly say that we are each others' best friends. There's never a fight that lasts more than 5 minutes, and not once have they failed to make me smile. I can't wait to talk more about them in my future posts, but for now I'll just leave it at that.
Enjoy the ancient pictures of us and keep checking in to hear crazy stories about these hooligans and my insights on the family unit!
Hasta La Vistsa!
